Three-year-old boy who loves exercising develops biceps and six-pack abs

  • A three-year-old boy’s photo showing him with biceps and six-pack abs goes viral
  • Dash Meager has developed muscles from running and jumping around.
  • Ursula, Dash’s mother, says she is not a fitness fanatic but she feels blessed for having a healthy little boy
CANBERRA, New South Wales – A three-year-old boy who loves exercising is making rounds on the internet for having biceps and abs at such a young age.
An article by The Sun published on January 6 identified the toddler as Dash Meager and said that he just turned three but has developed muscles from running and jumping around.
His mother, Ursula, said she is not a fitness fanatic but feel “blessed” to have such a healthy little boy.
“I first noticed Dash had the beginnings of a six pack about six months ago when I was changing his nappy. He curled his feet up towards the sky and I saw it and sent a picture to his dad saying ‘do you see what I see?’” the mother narrated.
“He’s too young to realize he has it of course, but he’s already incredibly muscly and just loves to exercise. I’m truly blessed to have such a healthy little boy,” Ursula added.
The little boy had completed a 4k run and been using the trampoline, where he bounces for up to two hours at a time. Dash, who goes by the name @musclylittlemonster at Instagram, had been followed by hundreds of online users.
An article by Sophie Haslett for Mail Online published on January 7 quoted Ursula as saying she is reasonably fit, on the same manner as her husband, but their son’s love of exercise really came from his love of the outdoors.
“He’s outside every day, come rain or shine. I used to run with him in the pram when he was a baby, and as soon as he hit two, I took him out on what I thought would be a gentle jog,” Ursula said.
However, the mother revealed that Dash wasn’t always the picture of health and fitness as he was an IVF baby and was expected to be delivered two weeks earlier and to be smaller than the average baby.
The mother said, “Instead he was two weeks late, ten pounds and continues to defy all the odds. He started walking at 10 and a half months, has been climbing from the beginning and does constant laps of the kitchen, climbing the coffee tables and kitchen sides – he has this constant energy!”
An article by Rhian Lubin for The Mirror published on January 7 said that Ursula has high hopes that Dash will become a sporting professional and hopes he could even compete in the Olympics one day.
“I do harbor a dream of him doing sport professionally or taking part in the Olympics for gymnastics, but I understand that the most important thing, for now, is that I have a healthy little boy and a fit kid,” Ursula said.
